When in-person follow-up is impossible

Telerehabilitation is an approach our physiotherapists can use to assess and monitor many musculoskeletal conditions.

This type of care is recognized by the Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec (OPPQ) for providing effective, quality care where in-person follow-up isn’t possible.

The standards of practice for our physiotherapists are the same when providing telerehabilitation or clinical care.

Obviously, this type of therapy is different from in-person follow-up, but its advantages are many:

• Monitoring your condition and pain levels;
• Advice for: pain management, good posture, effective biomechanics (eg running, sports, bending over, etc.);
• Knowing what to do and what not to do to improve your condition;
• Learning therapeutic exercises adapted to your condition.

In addition, the CNESST, SAAQ and most private insurance companies reimburse telerehabilitation sessions.

You don’t have to be a computer whiz to benefit from this service. All you need’s a computer, tablet or smartphone and an internet connection. Our team will guide you as needed in the process.
