Virginie Adam
Physiotherapist at
Granby /
Virginie began by taking a vocational course in physiotherapy techniques at Montreal’s Marie-Victorin cégep college of further education, from where she graduated with her diploma in 2013. Armed with a desire to learn more in this field, she then went on to continue her physiotherapy studies at the Université de Montréal, graduating with a degree in 2019 and a masters in 2020.
Over the course of her studies, she developed a passionate interest in human anatomy, manual therapy and sports injuries. Having begun focusing her practice on musculoskeletal conditions, and as a keen sports enthusiast herself, she took the decision to specialize in treating and helping cyclists and triathletes by offering bike fitting and running gait analysis services. Additionally, Virginie has also been enjoying the rewards of passing on her passion for physiotherapy since 2023 through an involvement in teaching the subject to others.
“Physiotherapy, for me, is about being able to help patients better understand their problem and then assisting and supporting them in getting back to full fitness.”
